Committments to Konza United Way will:

• Invest in the development of programs that deliver learning opportunities to achieve success.
• Invest in programs that support physcial and mental health for individual and families.
• Invest in programs that promote and assist inviduals families towards financial empowerment.

Mission

Konza United Way improves lives by mobilizing the caring power of our local communty to advance the common good. 

United Way does what no single donor or entity can do alone. We galvanize and connect all sectors of society — individuals, businesses, nonprofits and governments — to raise the resources needed to create long-term social change that produces healthy, educated and financially-stable individuals and families.

Together, we can accomplish more than any single person, group or organization.

Profile

Currently championing 71 preschool children in Frankfort who are enrolled in the Dolly Parton Imagination Library.  These children receive an age appropriate book mailed directly to them each month.     These books help foster a love for reading and build a personal library for each preschooler.

Supporting Konza United Way provides additional support opportunities for inviduals and families through:

• 211 - The United Way 211 service provides individuals and families in need with a shortcut through what can be a bewildering maze of health and human service agency phone numbers.  By simply dialing 211, those in need of assistance can be referred, and sometimes connected, to appropriate agencies and community organizations.

         Dialing 211 helps direct callers to services for, among others, the elderly, the disabled, those who do not speak English, those with a personal                     crisis, those with limited reading skills, and those who are new to their communities.

  • Utility Assistance, Rent Payments Assistance, Food Pantries, Homeless shelter, Communicable Disease Control

• Single Care Prescription 

SingleCare is a free prescription savings service and discount card that can save you up to 80% on medications at most major pharmacies. SingleCare is always free to use and works whether you have insurance or not, because we believe everyone should have access to the lowest prices available for their medications
